In a previous post we explained how there have now been six generations of Henry since he was conceived in the 80’s each one a slight improvement on the last. It has since been pointed out that we foolishly overlooked one of the most interesting recent incarnations, mini Henry Hoover!
You can now get a Henry for under £10, the cheapest Henry Hoover variant of them all, this cheap Henry variant is not the full sized version you will see stored under people’s stairs or in the janitorial cupboard at work. It’s a desktop USB or battery powered miniature vacuum specially designed to keep the area around your PC clean be it at work or home.
The design, manufacture ad release of this hoover is really a play on the success of the traditional product and if it was not launched on the back of the Henry brand it would most likely be seen as a useful addition to a desktop but the smiling reliable face was enough to make even this £10 desktop vac go viral!
This does leave us questioning what will come next and where else we will see this familiar face next. Car sponges and dusters would be the obvious choice but would it be too much to pontificate the possibility of a bar of soap or even a bottle of bubble bath carrying the famous brand?
